Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid license as a Social Worker in the state of practice
• Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of social work principles, theories, and techniques
• Ability to assess and diagnose emotional, behavioral, and social issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic and compassionate approach to counseling and support
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Knowledge of community resources and ability to provide appropriate referrals
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
• Adherence to ethical standards and guidelines for social work practice

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, social, and psychological needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to address patients' concerns and goals
• Provide counseling and support to individuals, families, and groups
• Advocate for patients' rights and access to appropriate resources and services
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care
• Assist with discharge planning and coordination of aftercare services
• Document patient information accurately and maintain confidential records
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in social work
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities

Benefits

Location: Olathe, KS 

Class/Area: LMSW Social Worker 

Pay Rate: $1,720-$1800@40hrs weekly

Desired Start Date: ASAP 

Length of Assignment: 14 Weeks(Temp – perm)

Hours per Week: 40Hrs 

Shift time: Days | 8:30am – 5pm 

Schedule Details: M to F with every 4th weekend shift 

On-Call Requirements: No 

Weekend Requirement: every 4th weekend shift 

Holiday Requirement: team rotates the holidays 

Floating requirement: none 

License /Certification: Certified LMSW or LSCSW | Kansas Social Work license |Master's Degree in Social Work 

Experience required: Hospital Social Work

House Assistant: Provided
