Internal Accountant

SSC Advisors, Inc. and SSC CPAs P.A. are seeking a talented and dedicated Internal Accountant to join our team. Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating the client database, ensuring data accuracy, and enforcing procedures to streamline data entry. You will regularly update and cleanse the data to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations. In addition, you will handle accounts receivable duties, including generating statements, reconciling accounts, collaborating with teams to resolve billing issues, and monitoring outstanding balances. You will also be responsible for preparing expense reports, verifying documentation, and providing general administrative support.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have an enthusiastic, people-oriented attitude, strong written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in MS Excel, a background in accounting or bookkeeping, and experience with accounts receivable are highly preferred. An associate’s degree, relevant certification, or proven experience in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is also preferred.
