Heavy Forklift Operator

American Concrete Products is a leading manufacturer of quality concrete products for various industries. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Concrete Laborer to join our team. We are currently hiring for a Heavy Forklift Operator to join our team.

The Heavy Forklift Operator reports to the Yard Foreman and is in regular contact with the Plant Manager & Yard Foreman for direction on arrangement of the precast projects amongst the yard.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities;

• 70% of the day in a Diesel Forklift with a weight load of 6,000+lbs
• Responsible for all safety involving the operating of equipment
• Work with the Yard Foreman discussing what tasks need to be completed daily

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1+ years of recent Diesel Forklift experience in construction or related environment
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to read instructions, tape measure & piece tickets
• Ability to communicate ideas & observations in an understandable manner in both verbal & written form
