Direct Hire RN Telemetry/ Med & Surge

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) for a direct hire position in the Telemetry/Med & Surge unit at NCG Associates. As a Direct Hire RN in Telemetry/Med & Surge, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients in the Telemetry/Med & Surge unit
• Monitor and analyze patients' cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated care
• Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date records
• Respond to changes in patients' conditions and notify the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Stay up-to-date with current nursing practices through continued education

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Telemetry/Med & Surge nursing
• Strong knowledge of telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical nursing principles and practices
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to interpret and analyze telemetry readings
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software

Night Shift: 1845-0715 (2 available)

Must have 1 year recent hospital experience.

Facility does offer shift differentials

BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years

Patient population: Medical Surgical Adult and Pediatrics

Scheduling/shifts, 12-hour shifts; 1845-0715

A specific type/style of nursing; Team Nursing
