Direct Hire Registered Nurse| Med Surg

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a direct hire position in the Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit at NCG Associates. As a Direct Hire RN in Med Surg, you will play a vital role in caring for patients with a variety of medical conditions and surgical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' conditions and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor and interpret diagnostic tests
• Perform various nursing procedures, including wound care and medication administration
• Assist in the coordination of patient education and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Adhere to all infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical-surgical nursing practices

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• BSN preferred, but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit
• Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and practices
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software

Weekend requirement: Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

Base Hourly Pay/Salary Range: Based on experience

Shift/Weekend/On-call differentials: Evening 1500-2230: $3.50 Night 2300-0730: $5.00 Weekend 1500 Friday-0659 Monday: $2.25 Benefits: Insurance & PTO Covid Vaccine
