- Compensation: $72,217.60 /yr

Overview / Job Summary:
The Dean of Students is responsible for the development, expansion and management of key student life activities and student support services for WSU Tech.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:
- Supervises, directs and evaluates assigned staff, addresses employee concerns and problems, directs work, counsels, disciplines and completes employee performance appraisals
- Provides overall vision, administration, and execution of the College’s student life programs and services
- Directs, supervises and recognizes student organizations giving special attention to organizational structure, goals, financial affairs, publicity, recruitment and facility usage
- Serves as designee for the Vice President, Student Services in managing the student complaint and student conduct processes
- Establishes and implements short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures for student life while monitoring and evaluating operational effectiveness and affecting changes required for continuous improvement
- Participates in diversity and inclusion programming to foster a positive, inclusive environment for students, faculty, and staff
- Serves as Title IX Coordinator

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of progressive experience working in higher education
- Displays leadership and supervisory skills
- Knowledge on all Microsoft Office products and programs
- Operating knowledge on student services software (Banner) is required within three months of hire
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Ability to fulfill all duties with minimal supervision and to work independently
