Cath and Lab Tech

As a Cath and Lab Tech at NCG Associates, you will play a crucial role in assisting with cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists and interventional radiologists during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
• Observe patients' vital signs and notify healthcare professionals of any changes or abnormalities
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of procedures and patient information
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and techniques in catheterization and interventional radiology
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

• Associate degree in cardiovascular technology or a related field
• ARRT (R), RCVT, or RCIS
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in catheterization and interventional radiology settings
• Familiarity with cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Commitment to patient safety and delivering exceptional care

Pay Rate:$2,400-2,600@40hrs/Week

Desired Start Date: 5/12

Length of Assignment: 14 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Shift and Time: 0700-1700 x4/week

Schedule Details: 10 hr days

Weekend Rotation: Required On-call

Requirements: Call in rotation with other techs

Holidays Requirements: Required

Experience Required: Cath Lab experience with Interventional and diagnostic left heart caths Right heart caths w/wo biopsy Structural hearts cases: TAVR, Mitraclip; PFO; ASD repair; Watchman; adult coronary experience required Vascular cases: peripheral run-offs; EVARS; TEVARS

License Required: ARRT (R), RCVT, or RCIS

Certificate Required: BLS, ACLS
