We are currently seeking a Brand Reputation Lead to join our Marketing team in Wichita, KS. This role is responsible for contributing to Emprise Bank’s public Image, media relations, and customer engagement through all platforms.

A successful candidate will have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to manage sensitive customer relations. 
  • Experience managing a brand’s online reputation. 
  • Knowledge of public relations and content marketing best practices and trends. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners. 
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
  • Exemplary customer service experience
  • An understanding of and commitment to our values

Essential functions of the role:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies that enhance our brand visibility and reputation, handle potential crises, and intentionally generate positive media. 
  • Foster strategic and proactive relationships with key media players to secure and grow media coverage across all channels (print, TV, online, and social media). 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to promote the bank as the go-to source for thought leadership on industry innovation and trends to targeted media outlets. 
  • Craft press releases, pitch stories to media outlets, and market site-based promotions, special events, cross-promotions, and sponsorships. 
  • Research and co-create content for thought leadership in targeted media outlets via news releases, bylined articles, blogs, videos, and other channels, as needed. 
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them. 
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field required
  • Proven experience in public relations, brand management, or a related field required
  • Proficient in creating and managing content across multiple platforms, including social media and traditional media required
