Supply Chain Manager

Global Life Science Hub has partnered with a one-of-a-kind, global CDMO that specializes in providing comprehensive development and manufacturing services. With an additional 50% growth expected in the Iowa site before the end of 2024, we’re searching for an experienced Supply Chain Manager who will be expected to build an in-house supply chain operations and spearhead the team to further growth.

This is a 100% on-site role with relocation assistance available. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Manager who would like to take a step up leading the entire group, reporting directly to the General Manager.

Role: Head of Supply Chain

Location: Iowa, USA

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet business goals.
• Manage relationships with global suppliers, product management, and operations.
• Optimize supply chain processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to drive supply chain improvements.
• Implement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
• Establish standards and guidelines for logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Oversee inventory management and demand planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management (preferably in a manufacturing environment or other regulated industry).
• Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics best practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience working in a heavy regulated environment such as GMP or cGMP
