Full Job Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Operations Financial Analyst for an established and growing global manufacturing company. This company is in a growth phase and this person will become a pivotal player in advancing the manufacturing finance function at the location. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, employing comprehensive financial analysis to inform decision-making, crafting detailed financial models and forecasts, and contributing to the development of strategies that fuel financial success. Seeking an established Manufacturing Financial Analyst with strong cost accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake thorough financial analysis to guide operational decision making.
  • Create financial models and forecasts specifically tailored to manufacturing operations.
  • Assess the financial health of operations through the evaluation of KPIs.
  • Scrutinize and monitor manufacturing costs, pinpointing areas for optimization and efficiency enhancements.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to comprehend cost drivers and implement effective cost control strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for manufacturing operations.
  • Track and report on budget variances, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Provide financial insights supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Generate regular financial reports for senior management.
  • Develop and maintain standard costs for all products in collaboration with procurement, production, and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
  • MBA/Masters preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst within a manufacturing environment 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Project Planning, and Office
