Location: This position has the ability to work remotely. Visits to the Zirous headquarters, based out West Des Moines, IA will be required as needed for company-wide events varying from quarterly to semi-annually. What you'd be doing:
You will play a vital role in leading client implementations of the Salesforce platform. You will utilize your Salesforce expertise to streamline business processes and ensure optimal customer experience with our services and solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for integrating Salesforce with various custom applications, databases, ERP, and CRM systems. This role will provides technical guidance in adherence to company standards, policies and procedures.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Manages portfolio of client projects from start to finish, including project timeline, client communications, meeting coordination, training plan creation, end-user training delivery and/or coordination, and project sign-off.
- Leads Technical Requirements and business analysis gathering sessions, collaborates to provide documentation around design, customizations, integration, data migration and testing.
- Acts as the Technical Architect to deliver well architected and secure solutions that best leverage SFDC and SFDX platforms.
- Utilizes professional discretion to make technical decisions that guide projects to achieve project goals with minimal oversight.
- Delivers module(s) within a workstream from a technical perspective including customization, programming, on SFDC and SFDX Platforms.
- Demonstrates built capabilities to product manager as part of application development.
- Develops code consistent with specifications and performs unit testing of such code.
- Participates in formal unit and or integration testing for deliverables as required by projects.
- Completes complex configurations for Salesforce features that are not very common or basic.
- Communicates clearly in writing and verbally the specific logic involved in assigned tasks.
- Proactively researches, learns, and applies new technology and methods to solve assigned tasks.
- Demonstrates built capabilities to product manager as part of application development.
- Participates in CI/CD/Release Management, Identification of risks and issues from a technical perspective.
- Builds roadmaps for future enhancements based on current configurations.
- Builds Salesforce reports or custom reports for customers.
- Adheres to best practices, performs peer code reviews, and ensures appropriate design patterns are being followed.
- Works closely with Project Managers & Technical Leads to ensure successful project implementation.
- Provides expert and specialized hands-on technical support, consultation and coaching to clients.
- Provides technical support and shares Salesforce ecosystem expertise amongst internal team members.

Requirements
- Previous experience completing full-cycle Salesforces platform implementations is required. Previous Salesforce Consulting experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or in a related field or equivalent work experience within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- 5 + years of customization and development experience within the Salesforce ecosystem with exposure to Sales or Service Clouds.
- Ability to code from scratch within Apex and Visualforce (VF) preferred, but not required. Along with experience with the Lightning platform.
- Experience in using Lightning App Builder, Flow Builder, Apex, Triggers, API, LWC, SOQL, Visual Force and Data migration tools.
- Experience using a DevOps tooling with Salesforce.com platform.
- Experience designing and developing custom Salesforce platform and custom Salesforce applications.
- Salesforce certifications in one or more areas preferred (Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Platform App Developer, JavaScript Developer).
- Experience in Additional Salesforce Clouds (Health Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud).
- Experience customizing and/or integrating with App Exchange Products/ third party Apps.
- Experience with refactoring and maintaining legacy systems.
- Comfortable with basic Salesforce admin duties.
- Ability to analyze performance issues arising and provide a remediation plan for custom code running on Salesforce.com platform.
- Experience in Salesforce.com reports and dashboards.
- Ability to balance multiple assignments and deadlines at same time.
- Strong written and oral communication skills (timely, clear, concise, accurate, conclusive targeted to audience).
- 5 years of experience with the Salesforce product suite including Salesforce1, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Communities and AppExchange solution.
- Solid troubleshooting skills and be able to debug and analyze issues to resolution.
- Excellent communication skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and the ability to work effectively with staff and clients.
- The ability to interact with clients in order to maintain good standing which includes, but is not limited to; assisting in gathering requirements, answering questions, and participating in implementations.
- Position will work closely with other team members to accomplish company, client and personal goals.
- Will work to understand the company's business including vendor relationships, company divisions, and how to best support them.
