Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Genie Healthcare, a reputable healthcare organization, is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in the Emergency Room department. As an Emergency Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality and timely medical care to patients in emergency situations. Your expertise, quick thinking, and calm demeanor will contribute towards saving lives and ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

• Triage and prioritize patients based on their medical conditions
• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and symptoms
• Administer emergency interventions and initiate life-saving measures when necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Document and maintain accurate medical records
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in emergency nursing

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of employment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS - AHA certifications
• TNCC
• CPI/MOAB
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
