The Medical Physicist - Radiation Oncology will be responsible for providing radiation therapy physics services to patients at [Hospital Name]. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation physics and experience in radiation therapy treatment planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement radiation therapy treatment plans for patients
- Perform quality assurance checks on radiation therapy equipment
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists to develop and implement new treatment techniques
- Conduct research in radiation physics and radiation therapy
- Teach and train medical physics residents and students
- Participate in professional organizations and conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Medical Physics or related field
- Two years of experience in radiation therapy physics
- Strong background in radiation physics and radiation therapy treatment planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
