Global Life Science Hub is recruiting on behalf of a leading global CDMO. This organization specializes in providing comprehensive development and manufacturing services, with a significant international presence.

As the Head of Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing all manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the production of high-quality products while adhering to regulatory standards and achieving business objectives. This position is ideal for an experienced Manufacturing Manager looking to advance to a leadership role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all manufacturing operations, including production planning, quality control, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with business goals and drive operational excellence.
• Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with applicable regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, or industry-specific guidelines).
• Lead efforts to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure seamless product development and manufacturing processes.
• Manage and mentor a team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve manufacturing performance.
• Drive initiatives to upgrade manufacturing technologies and processes.
• Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing management within regulated environments (e.g., food production, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, or similar industries).
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and experience with audits from regulatory bodies.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
