General Dentist

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a general dentist for a community health center, also called a federally qualified health center, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Mission: To provide affordable, comprehensive, high-quality health care to the entire community.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM – 5PM, with at least one evening and one admin day.
• Clinic Hours: (M-Th): 8AM-7PM, (F): 8AM- 5PM
• No weekends
• Appointments: 60 minute time slots
• See 8-10 patients per day on average.
• 5 operatories
• Current Dental Staff:  2 dentists, 2 dental hygienists, 4.5 dental assistants
• EHR: Wisdom/Epic
• Other notes: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!

• Community health centers are the nation’s largest source of comprehensive primary care for medically under-resourced communities and populations.
• Through an integrated care model, including medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof!

Requirements

• Requires graduation from an accredited school of dentistry;

• Possession of valid D.D.S/ D.M.D. degree;

• Current Iowa license, federal DEA and Iowa CSA in good standing;

Benefits

• Eligible for up to $50,000 in student loan repayment with two year commitment & option to renew.
• $150k - $170k annual salary
