General Dentist

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a general dentist for a community health center, also called a federally qualified health center, in Sioux City, Iowa.

Mission: To provide affordable, comprehensive, high-quality health care to the entire community.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM – 7:30/5PM, with at least one evening and one admin day.
• Clinic Hours: (M-Th): 7:30AM-7:30PM, (F): 7:30AM- 5PM
• Provider Schedule Expectation: 4 day work week with 1 late evening until 7:30pm
• No weekends, no on-call
• See an average of 18 patients per day on average (peds)
• 5 operatories
• Current Dental Staff:  5 dentists, 5 dental hygienists, 12 dental assistants
• EHR: Wisdom/Epic

• Community health centers are the nation’s largest source of comprehensive primary care for medically under-resourced communities and populations.
• Through an integrated care model, including medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof!

Requirements

• Requires graduation from an accredited school of dentistry;

• Possession of valid D.D.S/ D.M.D. degree;

• Current Iowa license, federal DEA and Iowa CSA in good standing;
