What you’d be doing:

As a Digital Marketing Consultant, you’ll collaborate with our certified implementation consultants as they implement various marketing technologies from marketing automation, CRM, CDP, analytics, webinar, event management and middleware systems to aid clients in leveraging the technology to drive business outcomes.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Work with clients (and our implementation consultants) to gather requirements and translate business needs into the technical execution of campaigns through our automation platforms.
  • Implement and manage marketing automation platform & customer journeys.
  • Build email funnels including funnel mapping, advanced nurture builds, drip flows, form/landing pages, testing, deployment, and lead lifecycle.
  • Detail user experience and customer journey best practices.
  • Working knowledge of marketing technology tools to guide in the development and execution of marketing campaigns including campaign flow builds, emails, landing pages, forms creation as well as testing and reporting.
  • Detail best practices when it comes to lead nurturing and scoring.
  • Assist clients with business processes and strategies as leads and contacts move through the sales funnel.
  • Understand the client’s channel management strategy and tech stack (big picture) while making recommendations on how to best utilize the technology, people and processes in place at clients to achieve the integrated campaigns with optimal outcomes. This could include modifications of processes and training client staff members to increase success outcomes.
  • Work alongside Client’s CRM team to ensure marketing and sales data are synced and correctly mapped between systems.
  • Provide recommendations on add-on applications (ABM/data management/events/webinars/etc.) and how they can be leveraged in campaigns to drive success.
  • Direct collaboration with clients virtually for workshops, training sessions and campaign strategy sessions.
  • Help identify audience and segments to be used in campaigns.
  • Create detailed road maps and project plans to work within the overall scope of the project.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of lead and data management, custom data, lead scoring, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in understanding of both design for both Email and Landing Pages.
  • Experience managing lead capture forms and integrations with CRM Systems (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Oracle Sales Cloud, etc. to execute on the lead distribution process.
  • SaaS technology implementation and integration configuration experience (CRM, Marketing Automation, Analytics, Websites and ad platforms).
  • Understanding of digital lead generation campaign strategies and channels; previous experience in email and working directly with marketing automation platforms.
  • Working knowledge of customer data flows across multiple touchpoints including web forms, customer service, webinars, events, etc.
  • Strong understanding of email legal compliance, list management, preference centers and deliverability.
  • Best practices around bringing customer data into marketing automation systems.
  • 3 - 5 years experience with:
    • Business Intelligence tools, such as Excel, Tableau, and/or Power BI
    • Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics
    • Google Adwords SEM and Display
    • Layout Design
    • Marketing automation tools Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, Responsys and/or Salesforce marketing cloud.
    • CRM tools (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Oracle, etc.)
    • Basic concepts of both traditional and digital marketing
    • Solutions design, configuration, and implementation
    • Strong background with lead generation campaigns, and customer journey mapping
  • Strongly analytical background.
  • Basic HTML a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of CSS.
  • Experience creating and implementing end-to-end digital marketing strategies for multiple campaigns, simultaneously.
  • Understanding of a variety of digital tactics; including but not limited to email, online advertising, webinars and landing pages.
  • Knowledge of paid media strategies to support digital campaigns.
  • Familiarity with creating and delivering reporting across all digital tactics, including the ability to present suggestions on tactics, results and recommendations for optimization to stakeholders of all levels, across the client’s business.
  • Thinking creatively about optimization opportunities, digital marketing testing techniques and opportunities for consistent improvement.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to identify cause-and-effect relationships using control and test variables.
  • Ability to constantly learn new marketing concepts and their application.
  • Ability to code emails and/or utilize third party tools such as Litmus to improve deliverability and customer experiences.
  • Understanding and experience with A/B testing and dynamic content.
  • Ability present high-level concepts to audiences of all sizes and levels.
  • Have the ability to successfully engage in multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional project management skills.

Certifications:

  • MCE (Marketo Certified Expert) highly desirable. Position must become certified within 60 days from the date of hire.
