RCS Millwork, a leading provider of building materials, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this remote role, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and support to our customers. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be essential in delivering a positive customer experience.

As a Customer Service Representative at RCS Millwork, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information on our products and services. You will engage with customers through various communication channels, such as phone, email, and chat. Your ability to effectively multitask and manage customer requests will be crucial in meeting customer needs and ensuring their satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate and timely information
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints, escalating as necessary to ensure a satisfactory resolution
  • Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and processing returns
  • Provide product and pricing information to customers
  • Maintain customer databases and update customer information as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and concerns
  • Ensure a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is preferred
  • Prior customer service experience is required; remote customer service experience is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
  • Ability to handle multiple customer requests and prioritize effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and update customer information
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and other remote communication tools
  • Positive attitude and ability to maintain professionalism in all customer interactions
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs, including evenings and weekends
