A community health center in Sioux City, Iowa, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive their financial strategy and lead their dedicated finance team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, including the Controller, Financial Manager, and Revenue Cycle Manager, to achieve the organization’s financial goals.
- Oversee all financial activities, including planning, budgeting, strategizing, and forecasting, to ensure sustainable growth.
- Manage audits, financial reporting, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the CEO, Finance Committee, Board of Directors, external auditors, and payor sources.
- Drive financial excellence through expertise in cost accounting, performance management systems, and third-party payor interactions.
Requirements
What They're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in financial leadership within a healthcare setting.
- Advanced knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and managing state, federal, and third-party payor relationships.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced data entry capabilities.
