Batch Freight is in search of a skilled TMS Administrator – Freight Operations to enhance our transportation management system (TMS) and support our freight operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and management of our TMS platform, ensuring that it operates efficiently and meets the needs of our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of freight operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer and configure the TMS to optimize freight operations
- Assist in the implementation and upgrades of TMS software
- Provide training and support to staff on TMS functionalities
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of TMS with other systems
- Maintain accurate system documentation and user guides
- Analyze data and generate reports to improve operational efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience as a TMS Administrator, Logistics Analyst, or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of transportation management systems and freight operations
- Technical proficiency in configuring and managing TMS software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and training abilities
- Familiarity with logistics software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, information technology, or a related field preferred
