Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recording and processing of incoming/outgoing wires for multiple Title companies
  • Payment and reconciliation of property taxes in Chicagoland area counties.
  • Reconciling Title property files for accuracy.
  • Reconciling of daily payoffs and proceeds of outgoing wires.
  • Follow up on various risk items including: older outstanding checks, 1099-S information, customer inquiries, etc.
  • Various bank functions, including stop payments, deposit and clearing confirmations, etc.
  • Open & distribute title accounting mail & returned checks.
  • Deposit checks received.
  • Review and respond to customer/ employee inquiries.
  • Provide support for operations accountant and to corporate office.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • Associates degree or higher, or currently studying to achieve
  • 1-2 years of cash or account reconciliation experience

Requirements

This position requires 3x/week of in-person working at our Schaumburg office.
