Tax Manager CPA - High Net Worth Clients

Hire Resolve is currently recruiting for a Tax Manager position for a prestigious CPA firm that specializes in serving high net worth clients. The firm prides itself on providing exceptional tax services and personalized financial advice to its clientele.

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing expert tax planning and compliance services. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique financial situations and develop customized tax strategies to minimize their tax liabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of high net worth clients and oversee all aspects of their tax compliance and planning
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their trusted advisor
• Proactively identify tax planning opportunities and implement strategies to optimize clients' tax positions
• Research complex tax issues and provide guidance to clients and junior staff
• Review and sign off on tax returns prepared by junior staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws
• Stay current on tax laws and regulations, and communicate any changes or updates to clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably with a focus on high net worth clients
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
• Experience with tax planning and compliance for complex individual and business tax returns
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
