Tax Manager CPA

Hire Resolve's client, is a reputable CPA firm currently seeking a Tax Manager to join their team in Chicago. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing multiple operations of the tax practice area and delivering high-quality tax services to clients. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the tax practice area
• Provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory services for individuals and businesses
• Review and analyze complex tax returns and financial documents
• Identify and mitigate tax risks for clients
• Supervise and mentor tax associates and senior associates
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations
• Participate in business development activities to expand the client base

Requirements

• CPA license is required
• 5+ years of tax experience in a public accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Experience in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
