Systems Architect - Logistics Technology

Batch Freight is seeking a Systems Architect specializing in Logistics Technology to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient systems that enhance our logistics operations. You will leverage your technical expertise and industry knowledge to create innovative solutions that streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of logistics technology, and extensive experience in systems architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop systems architecture for logistics solutions
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that align with business goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements
• Ensure system integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards
• Conduct feasibility studies and optimize systems for performance
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams
• Document architectural decisions and maintain system specifications

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Systems Architect or in a similar role, preferably in logistics or supply chain technology
• Strong understanding of architectural principles and system design methodologies
• Experience with cloud computing, microservices, and agile development
• Familiarity with database management systems and data integration
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus
