At Kirchner Building Center, we are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager. As a locally owned business with a strong focus on personalized service, we are looking for someone who can effectively manage our online presence and engage with our customers through various social media platforms. With nine locations within a 150 mile radius, we have the purchasing power to offer competitive pricing and a wide range of readily available inventory. Additionally, we provide special services such as key cutting, window/screen repair, kitchen design, and free estimates, ensuring our customers receive the utmost care and convenience.

As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility, improve customer engagement, and drive sales. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and innovative ideas to develop compelling content that resonates with our target audience. It will be your role to monitor social media trends and industry best practices to optimize our social media campaigns and initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy to enhance brand awareness and engagement
  • Create, curate, and publish compelling content across various social media platforms
  • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on key performance indicators
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and platforms to ensure our strategies are effective and innovative
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all social media channels
  • Foster relationships with influencers and strategic partners to expand our reach and increase brand exposure

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a social media manager or similar role
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the construction or home improvement industry is a plus
