Full Job Description
Clearwaters.IT is seeking full-time Shipper Packers to join our team and support the Veterans Affairs Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) program in Hines, IL.
Position Overview:
Location: 5000 South 5th Avenue, Hines, IL 60141
Hours Of Operation: Second Shift: 3:30pm-12:00 am(midnight), Monday - Friday
Pay: $22.25 plus full benefits package
Clearance: Must be able to obtain a VA Security Clearance. Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening, including THC, marijuana
Citizenship: Must be a U.S citizen and a resident for more than three consecutive years.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Warehouse Production Shipper Packer Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content.
- Selection of the appropriate type and size of container.
- Insert enclosures into containers.
- Use excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damage.
- Closing and sealing containers.
- Applying labels or entering identifying data on containers.
- Operates various types of packaging equipment.
- Must be able to read computer screens and use scanning equipment.
- Must be able to respond to alarms and alerts.
Requirements
Warehouse Production Shipper Packer Candidates Must Meet the Following:
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills with coworkers and staff.
- Have basic typing skills, PC computer skills, working knowledge of MS Office.
- Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently.
- Must be able to obtain a VA Security Clearance.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening, including THC, marijuana.
- Must be a U.S citizen and a resident for more than three consecutive years.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds when required; push or pull up to 150 pounds on a rolling cart or using a pallet jack.
- Able to sit/stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours) and being able to lift totes weighing up to 30 pounds repetitively.
- Must be able to understand the precautions required when handling hazardous medications, materials, and hazardous waste.
