Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer experienced in React, NextJS and Tailwind with true startup spirit to join our small team. You'll have the opportunity to shape a product from the ground up and potentially transform an entire industry.

What You'll Do

• Work on Outfit’s flagship product adding customer facing features.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product and design teammates on concepting and scoping new features.
• Translate designs into functional, high-performance code.
• Design and implement new UI components.
• Work independently from development to deployment.
• Connect the frontend with backend APIs.
• Implement real-time data updates for AI-driven features.
• Optimize the UI for interactions with AI models.
• Maintain frontend testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Requirements

Your Technical Skills

• 4+ years of frontend development experience.
• Detail-oriented with a consideration for customer impact on every feature.
• Proficient in React and TypeScript.
• Experience with Next.js and API integrations.
• Strong knowledge of modern CSS (including Tailwind) and responsive design.
• Mobile-first development approach.
• Familiar with frontend testing methodologies.
• Clear technical communication skills, including documentation.
• Continuous learning mindset.
