Senior Production Designer

Resource Innovations is searching for an exceptionally talented and seasoned Sr. Production Designer to become a part of our rapidly expanding internal creative team, even from the comfort of your own location. As a Production Designer, you will play an indispensable role within the creative and delivery teams, where your main focus will be on creating impeccable artwork for a wide range of print and digital materials. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the production of materials and serving as the final gatekeeper in the creative process, ensuring that every piece of artwork is flawless and ready to impress clients. This position is crucial in maintaining the consistent creative integrity of our imaginative concepts. Alongside being highly organized and process-driven, you will also bring forth a keen design sensibility, with an inherent understanding of typography, layout, composition, and color. While you will primarily work within existing brand guidelines and client templates, there will be exciting opportunities to explore fresh creative avenues as necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Refine and uphold our production process including routing for approval, file structure, version control and general creative file organization for print and digital production.
• Work under the guidance of the creative director, marketing director and project managers, to produce artwork for print and digital client deliverables.
• Ensure that all client materials maintain creative consistency and quality through thorough final checks for accuracy and consistency prior to release.
• Uphold client brand standards and apply corporate identity systems across various projects.
• Multitask across several projects, maintaining a high standard of output in a deadline-driven environment.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team including marketing, sales and project management to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met.
• Lead the production effort for our IL/East region marketing and design group.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Up to date creative portfolio showcasing visual design examples.
• 5+ years of production design work experience.
• Must thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in both print and digital visual design.
• Previous experience working with creative and client delivery teams.
• Demonstrated capability to establish and uphold a brand-centric visual identity across print and digital.
• Exhibit strong design skills and meticulous attention to detail in the execution of brand standards for multiple clients, both in print and digital formats.
• Expert knowledge of design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, and an understanding of emerging design technologies and trends.
• Expert knowledge of Office 365 Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Out-look/Teams.
• Proven track record as a collaborative team player in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and confident delegation capabilities across cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable with project management tools and systems and proactively communicating up-dates to marketing team leads.
• Knowledgeable of the print process, from concept through execution.
• Ability to work with department peers and middle management within marketing, sales and project management.

The compensation range for this exempt position is $65,300 - $110,000. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate of the compensation range for the duties, responsibilities and skills / experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience and internal equity. This provided range may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, especially with industry experience.
