As a leader of our technology team, you have the opportunity to support our corporate office and our new home builder partners to sell more homes more profitably. Our Corporate Support Office is located in the heart of downtown Elmhurst and is not your typical “corporate” setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Work closely with the product designer and technology team to evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for building scalable solutions, considering factors such as performance, cost, and future scalability.
- Technology Stack Selection: Collaborate with the technical lead to evaluate and choose the most suitable technologies, frameworks, and tools for constructing scalable solutions, taking into account performance, cost implications, and future scalability requirements.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee the implementation and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and business development, to align technology initiatives with business goals. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability, implementing best practices and leveraging automation where possible.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for scalability, performance, and security for technology systems.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure all technology solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in information technology and data management.
- A minimum of 7 years leading product and engineering teams.
- Experience with working in start-up to mid-sized organizations.
- Experience in developing and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Experience working with agile methodologies is a plus.
