SEC Accountant

RoseRyan is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled SEC Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a significant part in preparing and filing reports required by the SEC, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and other mandatory disclosures
• Monitor and ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP standards
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial reporting
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during the audit process
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency
• Support management in various ad-hoc financial analysis requests

Requirements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SEC reporting or in a public accounting environment
• Strong understanding of SEC regulations and reporting requirements
• Experience with financial statement preparation and financial analysis
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Desired skills:

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and GAAP
• Experience with XBRL reporting is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
