About the Role
In order to achieve its ambition of serving 80,000-100,000 Fellows over the next decade, Braven is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Administrator who will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing Braven’s Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust Salesforce solutions that align with Braven’s mission and strategic goals.
This role is on the Systems team and reports directly to the Director of Salesforce Operations.
What You’ll Do
- Scrum Participation & Support for Program Operations (60%):
- Engage in Braven project scrums to gather, plan for, and execute on user stories assigned, ensuring successful delivery of Salesforce projects. Focus areas include program operations support such as setting up Campaigns, importing program registration files, assigning program participants to cohorts, and creating and managing reports and dashboards.
- Manage communications related to program recruitment and onboarding, specifically focusing on field mapping and report synchronization between Salesforce and our email marketing tool, Campaign Monitor.
- Salesforce Administration (40%)
- Manage Salesforce users including licenses, profiles, and permissions.
- Respond to users’ ticket requests.
- Create and maintain documentation for a knowledge hub containing Salesforce best practices and processes.
- Conduct office hours and end user training sessions on Salesforce best practices.
- Support the integration and management of third-party tools affiliated with Salesforce (e.g., Mogli, Campaign Monitor, Form Assembly).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and releases, incorporating updates into existing solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- At least two (2) years of professional experience as a Salesforce Administrator
- Salesforce Certifications: Administrator (ADM-201)
- Experience with one or more relevant tools that integrate with Salesforce such as Campaign Monitor, Duplicate Check, Excel/Google Sheets, FormAssembly, Mogli, and Tableau
- Knowledge and experience in implementing Salesforce best practices related to field creation, page layout customization, and duplicate management
- Experience with flows to enhance Salesforce automation and streamline processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a non profit setting using Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP)
- Additional Salesforce Certifications: Advanced Administrator (ADM-211); Business Analyst
- Strong collaborative skills with a clear understanding of how data and operations contribute to organizational goals
- Proven ability to support cross-functional and strategically important projects while maintaining attention to detail in daily operations
- Ability to thrive and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.

Work Demands

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position, which depends on prior work experience and our assessment of your demonstrated fit for the role, will likely be between $71,700 - $89,600 in Atlanta, $75,400 - $94,300 in Chicago, and $83,100 - $103,800 in Newark and New York City. Braven offers competitive base salaries based on the midpoint of the market among not-for-profit organizations of similar size, with opportunities for salary growth over time. We believe in compensating staff members fairly in relation to each other, their qualifications, and their impact on behalf of the organization, and take internal and external equity seriously. Given our commitment to equity, Braven does not negotiate salary offers; instead each salary offer is determined carefully using external and internal benchmarking. You will have an opportunity to discuss salary in more detail after you begin the application process.
Braven also provides competitive, comprehensive benefits, recognition, and career development. While Braven reserves the right to change benefits at any time, current benefits include:
- Unlimited vacation time in addition to org-wide holidays and week-long shutdowns in July and the end of the calendar year (this is a minimum of 19 days per year)
- Match of your 401K contribution up to 5% of your base annual salary, starting your first full month
- Coverage of 85% of health insurance premium for employee and dependents
- A one-month paid sabbatical after 4 years on staff
Location
We gather in the office at least 3 days per week (on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and often work remotely 2 days per week (although certain commitments might adjust that from time to time). Therefore, we require teammates to live within commuting distance of one of our hubs in Atlanta, Chicago Newark or New York. We believe in the magic, connection, and collaboration that happens when people work together face-to-face and we believe in giving people flexibility to focus, balance personal priorities, and save themselves two commutes per week.
