Residential / Commercial Interior Designer

Charles Vincent George Architects (CVG) is looking for a full time Residential Leaning interior designer that also has interest in working in various commercial design sectors. This position is a leadership role and will require exceptional skills in internal management of projects, client sales and a high-level design skillset. The candidate must have the following qualifications:

• Significant experience in the residential sector with their own personal portfolio of residential specific projects.
• An understanding of Commercial Design and expectations regarding the deliverable product on commercial based projects.
• Experience with material, furniture, plumbing and lighting fixture selections.
• Must display a creative design style and ability to create 2 and 3d depictions of the proposed design work.
• Ability to present ideas and effectively manage client expectations directly.
• Experience working with AutoCAD and production of construction drawing level drawings.
• Experience with general building code analysis for work in the commercial sector.
• Expectation of largely in-office workload with flexible time schedules and partial remote options.
