As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic X-Ray procedures on patients of all ages. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced medical setting, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform X-Ray examinations on patients using radiographic imaging techniques and equipment.
• Prepare patients for procedures, positioning them properly to obtain accurate images.
• Ensure patient safety during procedures, following radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborate with medical staff to assess and determine imaging needs for accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Monitor and record patient records, ensuring accurate documentation for diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide compassionate care to patients, addressing their concerns and answering any questions they may have.
• Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in Radiologic Technology.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Certification in Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Proficient in operating radiographic imaging equipment and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
