Project Manager

Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for working with the Professional Services team for the planning, scheduling, executing, and delivering of client-facing projects that span various IT disciplines for WEBIT’s managed services clients. This may include managing internal and external project teams, as well as any external vendors that may be involved.

Core Functions

• Coordinate multiple projects in various phases simultaneously.

• Define and organize projects and establish project scope and timeline.
• Engage the appropriate Professional Services team members to establish the project team.
• Ensure team members understand their assigned action items and meet due dates.
• Keep team resources focused on planning and executing the project.
• Assist and support project team members.
• Facilitate project execution and ensure timelines are met.
• Work with Sales to evaluate the effect of changes to scope or timeline on project costs and revenue.
• Provide updates to client, team members, sales personnel, and management on project status.
• Hold project kickoff, status and close out calls for all assigned projects.
• Ensure effective communication and transfer of information between the project team and client.

Requirements

Knowledge, skills, and/or abilities

• Prior experience working with an MSP
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and empathize with team members
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to assess risks and make decisions while working under pressure and time constraints
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new software
• Critical thinking and project management skills required
• Excellent writing and editing skills, and command of grammar with ability to edit text for consistent style
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendation(s)

• 4 years equivalent experience
• BA/BS in Computer Science or relationed field
• PMP certification perferred

Additional Information:

• Position Type: Full time, salaried
• Salary Range: $80,000-95,000/yr.
• Unlimited PTO Eligibility: After 90 days
• Employee Ownership Eligible after 1 year of service
