At Seasoned Recruitment, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PTA to provide quality home health care to patients in their own homes. As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver personalized treatment plans and help patients regain their mobility and independence.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing physical therapy services to patients in their homes
- Collaborate with the physical therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Guide and support patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Assist with modalities and other treatment interventions as directed by the physical therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatment and progress
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the relevant state
- Prior experience in home health or a related setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
