Physical Therapist Assistant

Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant in Springfield, IL. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional care to our patients.

$5,000 bonus offered to eligible full-time hires!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing therapy programs as prescribed by the physical therapist
• Guide and supervise patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
• Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
• Assist in educating patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
• Administer modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation under the direction of the physical therapist
• Ensure a clean and organized therapy area
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatment plans and progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy treatments and techniques
• Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional guidelines

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 8a-5p
• Local travel to patient homes

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Compassionate and dedicated to improving patient outcomes

• Licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Prior experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques
