Hours: 10-25 hours per week, flexible daily schedule with majority of hours worked during regular business hours, Monday through Friday
Location: Remote from one of our current Braven operating states: GA, CA, IL, DE, MA, NY, NJ, DC, OH
Compensation: $25 per hour

About the Role
Braven is seeking two Volunteer Operations Specialists to support with volunteer recruitment, vetting, and onboarding for 500+ volunteers across Braven programs. The Volunteer Operations Specialists will play a critical role in ensuring that our volunteers seamlessly move through the recruitment process and complete all requirements to be ready for Braven programs.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a pipeline with 500+ candidates to ensure that each completes onboarding requirements (references, background checks, and legal forms)
- Communicate with 200-300 volunteers who do not complete requirements on their own through various communication channels
- Update and ensure data accuracy in Salesforce and log outreach and communication in trackers
- Review volunteer recruitment data daily to identify root causes for issues, collaborate effectively with colleagues to problem solve and prioritize next steps
- Participate in onboarding, training, and status update meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in an operations role
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with hiring and/or recruiting
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong judgment and ability to handle confidential, sensitive information with absolute discretion
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion
- Familiarity and comfort with Salesforce
Work Demands
- Some evening and weekend work required

Compensation
This is a part-time temporary, non-exempt, position paid at an hourly rate of $25 per hour. The anticipated hours per week for this role are 10-25 hours per week.
