About the Role

Braven is seeking two Volunteer Operations Specialists to support with volunteer recruitment, vetting, and onboarding for 500+ volunteers across Braven programs. The Volunteer Operations Specialists will play a critical role in ensuring that our volunteers seamlessly move through the recruitment process and complete all requirements to be ready for Braven programs.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a pipeline with 500+ candidates to ensure that each completes onboarding requirements (references, background checks, and legal forms)
• Communicate with 200-300 volunteers who do not complete requirements on their own through various communication channels
• Update and ensure data accuracy in Salesforce and log outreach and communication in trackers
• Review volunteer recruitment data daily to identify root causes for issues, collaborate effectively with colleagues to problem solve and prioritize next steps
• Participate in onboarding, training, and status update meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in an operations role

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with hiring and/or recruiting
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong judgment and ability to handle confidential, sensitive information with absolute discretion
• Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion
• Familiarity and comfort with Salesforce

Work Demands

• Some evening and weekend work required

This is a part-time temporary, non-exempt, position paid at an hourly rate of $25 per hour. The anticipated hours per week for this role are 10-25 hours per week.
