Requirements

Description of responsibilities:

• Perform thorough patient assessments to ascertain mental health needs and develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Devise and execute individualized treatment plans for patients, addressing their specific mental health disorders and behavioral concerns.
• Administer counseling and therapy sessions to individuals dealing with various mental health issues, employing evidence-based practices like motivational interviewing and psychotherapy techniques.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as indicated by clinical outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and uphold accurate record-keeping practices in accordance with regulatory standards.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in assisting individuals with mental health disorders and behavioral health concerns.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive patient assessments and crafting effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Thorough understanding of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mental health counseling, ensuring optimal patient care.
• Strong communication skills, enabling effective engagement with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to deliver compassionate care while upholding professional boundaries, fostering a supportive and respectful environment.
• Familiarity with behavioral health regulations and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current LCSW licensure in Illinois.
• Must be in-network with Medicaid.
• In-network with additional insurance companies is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience providing therapy in a clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Simple Practice; preferred.

Benefits

Compensation structure: LCSW or LCPC will receive 60% of the total amount reimbursed by insurance companies for their sessions. After a successful probationary period of 6 months, there is potential for percentage reimbursed to increase based on performance.
