Medical Front Desk Receptionist

• Greet patients professionally both in person and on the phone
• Promptly answering incoming calls
• Properly referring questions and issues to the appropriate provider or staff members
• Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
• Checking patients in and having them complete any necessary paperwork
• Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
• Ensuring patient chart is up to date when checking patients in for appointments
• Verifying financial records and collecting patient copays/coinsurance and balances

Requirements

• One year customer service required
• One year EHR/medical terminology required
• Excellent organization skills
• Behavioral Health experience preferred
