Logistics Data Analyst - Freight Brokerage

Batch Freight is looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Data Analyst specializing in Freight Brokerage to join our analytical team. In this role, you will leverage data to optimize freight operations, enhance decision-making processes, and improve efficiency within our brokerage services. You will collect, analyze, and interpret logistics data while collaborating with various departments to implement data-driven strategies. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a comprehensive understanding of logistics, and experience with data management tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze transportation and brokerage data to identify trends and performance metrics
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with operations teams to optimize processes and improve efficiencies
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports
• Assist in data-driven decision-making processes across the organization
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in logistics or transportation
• Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools)
• Understanding of freight brokerage and logistics processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets
• Effective communication skills for presenting data findings
• Bachelor's degree in data analysis, statistics, logistics, or a related field preferred
