Responsibilities:
As a CDL-B Driver at Al Warren Oil, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating company vehicles, adhering to all federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations.
- Delivering fuel and lubricant products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Loading and unloading products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance requirements are met.
- Communicating effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to provide exceptional customer service.
- Accurately completing all required paperwork, including delivery receipts, manifests, and driver logs.
- Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle and work environment.
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with industry best practices and safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A or CDL-B license with Hazmat and Tank endorsements.
- Must be at least 23 years of age.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in fuel and lubricant delivery.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations.
- Ability to meet all U.S. DOT requirements.
- Good driving record and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy loads.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical.
