We are seeking a LEASE ADMINISTRATION MANAGER who plays a key role in managing and optimizing Bridge33’s commercial real estate retail lease portfolio. This position ensures compliance with lease terms, and facilitates efficient lease-related processes. The is a in-person role based in our Chicago office. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret complex legal language in retail tenant leases.
- Manage the portfolio of commercial real estate retail leases, overseeing lease abstraction, interpretation, and documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of lease data entry into the lease management system and maintain lease files.
- Oversee the ongoing creation and maintenance of lease abstract files (internally or externally)
- Coordinate with Asset Managers, Property Managers, and Accountants at each step of the lease process
- Monitor financial aspects of leases, including rent payments, escalations, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with accounting and finance to teams to ensure accurate and timely lease-related financial reporting.
- Designs reports utilizing various report tools (Yardi, Excel, Power BI)
- Prepares and distributes critical date reports; maintains tickler system for tracking important dates and tasks related leases.
- Assists Asset Management, Leasing and Property Management with critical information in the lease in a timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong in-depth experience with retail leases including experience with lease provisions such as co-tenancies, go-dark clauses, prohibited uses, etc.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Yardi, or MRI (or similar real estate software packages)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- 3+ years’ experience in professional level commercial real estate/lease audit
- Possess skills, abilities and traits that align with the company’s Key Principles

The annual base salary range for this role is $93,795 - $130,692 and the role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
