Lead CNC Trainer

JOB SUMMARY

Prince Industries LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead CNC Trainer to join our team on 2nd Shift. As the Lead CNC Trainer, you will be responsible for training and mentoring our CNC machinists to ensure they have the knowledge and skills required to operate CNC machines effectively and efficiently. You will work closely with the production team and management to develop and implement training programs and provide ongoing support to machinists. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and deliver comprehensive CNC training programs for new and existing machinists
• Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and individual coaching sessions
• Assess training needs and develop customized training plans
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements and best practices in CNC machining
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to machinists to enhance their skills
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Maintain accurate training records and prepare progress reports
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years proven experience as a CNC machinist
• 5+ years in a lead or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of CNC machines and programming in Mills, Lathe, and Swiss
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create and deliver training materials effectively
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly required to stand, and reach the duration of shift, 8-10 hours.
• Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.
• Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycle work.
• Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
