Full Job Description
ARFA Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled GCP DevOps/Network Engineer to join our team. As a GCP DevOps/Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and network solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of our systems, leveraging your expertise in GCP and network engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure GCP infrastructure solutions to support our applications and services.
- Collaborate with network engineers and stakeholders to design and implement reliable network architectures in GCP.
- Automate deployment and configuration processes using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Maintain and monitor GCP resources, ensuring optimal system performance and uptime.
- Implement network security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and improve software delivery processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GCP infrastructure and network components.
- Continuously stay up to date with the latest GCP services and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Network Engineer with a strong focus on GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and VPC.
- Experience designing and implementing network architectures in GCP, including VPCs, subnets, routes, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and load balancing.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Puppet
- Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance frameworks and excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze network traffic, logs, and monitoring metrics.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
