Global Life Science Hub is recruiting for a Finance – Operations Analyst on behalf of a prominent pharmaceutical company. In this dynamic role, the successful candidate will bridge operations and finance, ensuring accurate production planning, financial oversight of manufacturing costs, and effective cash flow management. The position demands a proactive and performance-driven professional with experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in project management and demand planning. The role requires a deep understanding of business priorities, supply contracts, and the ability to align manufacturing operations to ensure the timely supply of customer orders. Additionally, the candidate will develop processes and procedures to streamline operations, enhance revenue performance, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Operations leaders to plan and execute manufacturing activities, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders as the company expands globally.
- Manage resources and coordinate team efforts to deliver products according to plans, contractual obligations, and company goals.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve production issues, constraints, and risks, providing management with updates and solutions for any delays.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Operations, Finance, and Executive teams, facilitating day-to-day internal information sharing, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain bills of materials within the ERP system and manage data entry related to daily operational activities, including material issuance, consumption, and batch completion.
- Prepare demand plans to align manufacturing and procurement with customer orders, advising management of any constraints.
- Manage third-party customer orders, adjusting quantities as necessary.
- Assist in project planning, reporting, follow-up, and communication across all departments, vendors, and customers.
- Serve as the main contact for all manufacturing operations, working cross-functionally with logistics, warehousing, procurement, and finance teams, as well as external vendors and customers.
- Report monthly to the management team on batch execution from initiation to closure, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to align with business goals.
- Handle the fast-paced work environment effectively, working well under pressure and autonomously.
- Provide ad hoc reports as requested by Operations and/or Finance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business management or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience; project management experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, including Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Accounting modules, is preferred.
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required; biologics experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of drug product manufacturing and commercialization.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of project management techniques.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- General work environment and physical demands as required to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when needed and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Some travel may be required.
Supervisory Responsibility
- This role does not have direct reports.
