Full Job Description
As an EHR Integration Analyst at PatientIQ you will be a valued member of the team who is primarily focused on building out integrations with new customers into the PatientIQ platform, establishing long-term customer relationships, and enabling our customers to be successful on the PatientIQ platform. This position requires a candidate who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and is experienced with HL7 Integrations and API development, as well as familiarity with FHIR protocols.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with clients and partners to identify integration requirements and establish design solutions that meet those requirements.
- Develop, maintain and test integrations, APIs, and workflows that connect various healthcare systems and applications to PatientIQ.
- Manage a portfolio of customer integrations into the PatientIQ platform, including designing technical interface logic, process documentation and reporting on integration KPIs.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer technical project leads.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and provide technical support to customers regarding their integrations.
- Establish post-implementation adoption activities to closely monitor the functionality of the integrations and quickly resolve issues.
- Interface with Product and Engineering teams regarding customer feedback to shape our product roadmap regarding integrations.
- Identify key strategic areas that would expand integration capabilities which would drive customer growth and expansion opportunities on the PatientIQ platform.
- Serve as a customer advocate in driving industry best practices and the evolution of PatientIQ product and platform functionality.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years’ experience working in customer integrations and/or working on the frontlines in a customer-facing role.
- Experience in healthcare, including knowledge of HL7v2, SMART on FHIR, and Electronic Health Records
- Experience managing multiple complex integration projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
- Experience working with various EHR vendors (Epic, Cerner, Athena, ModMed, Veradigm, etc.)
- Demonstrated self-directed ability to manage simultaneous, complex engagements with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in advising customers in product best practices and optimal technical solutions.
- BA/BS degree required, ideally in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with data ingestion (web scrapes, S3/FTP sync, bespoke processes), transformations (Python, Perl) and interface (API, schema design, events, etc.)
- Experience with design, development, and deployment of data pipelines.
- Basic understanding of SQL and interacting with production software databases
