Director of IT

Job Title: Director of Technology up to 155k

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Technology to lead the design, development, and delivery of technology solutions that drive business value. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system integration, data exploration, SQL development, and agile software development management.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee system integration activities across multiple platforms and technologies, ensuring compatibility and interoperability.
2. Perform data exploration and analysis using SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to identify and resolve data quality issues.
3. Implement and lead agile software development methodologies, managing the software development lifecycle from requirement definition to deployment.
4. Provide leadership and guidance to development teams on agile principles and practices, conducting training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in system integration using various technologies and platforms.
2. Strong SQL development skills using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or MySQL Workbench.
3. Extensive knowledge of agile software development management using tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage agile software development teams, with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
5. 8+ years in leadership

Preferred Qualifications:
- Data exploration skills using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or others.
- Agile leadership and training skills using frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience in business process mapping using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
