Debt Finance Mid Senior Level Associate

Direct Counsel has partnered with a premier, nationally recognized law firm in their search for a Mid-Senior Level Associate for the Corporate Department with debt financing experience. As a Debt Finance Attorney you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on debt financing matters, including structuring, negotiating, and documenting debt transactions. You will work closely with clients, financial institutions, and internal teams to ensure that debt arrangements are legally compliant and aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of law firm experience
• Experience representing private equity sponsors and borrower-side finance preferred.
• Outstanding academic credential and law firm experience are required.
• Admission to the Illinois Bar
• Juris Doctorate degree from a nationally accredited law school
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Benefits

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $310,000 and a maximum of $435,000 (annually). The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
