Corporate Finance Attorney

Direct Counsel is partnered with a leading global law firm seeking a 3rd to 4th year Associate to join their Corporate Finance Practice Area. The position offers a generous compensation package that recognizes hard work and excellence amongst a culture of champions that support both life and career. Requirements:

• 3-4 years of corporate and transactional experience focused in the Finance & Banking area

• Excellent writing and analytical skills, along with a strong academic background
• Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which you will be located

Responsibilities

- Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.

- Draft legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and memos.

- Assist in estate planning and environmental law matters.

- Negotiate on behalf of clients in various legal areas.

- Utilize writing skills to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

- Stay updated on banking regulations and securities law.

- Collaborate with colleagues in a law office setting to provide comprehensive legal services.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range is based on Year of JD Class starting at $235,000 per year for 2022 graduates
