Our company is looking for a Content Strategy Manager with 5+ years of experience to add to our nationwide team. New Home Star is the largest privately owned seller of new homes in America. As a member of our Marketing Team, you have the opportunity to support our corporate office and our new home builder partners to sell more homes more profitably. Our Corporate Support Office is located in the heart of downtown Elmhurst and is not your typical “corporate” setting. Pay Structure & Benefits

  • $70,000 Salary + Bonus Opportunities
  • Paid time off- vacation time, paid sick and safe time (PSST), and paid company holidays.
  • In addition, you will be eligible for birthday time off, an extended holiday break, and a summer hours program.

Requirements

New Home Star is seeking a motivated, educated, goal-oriented professional to join our team. If you fit the requirements below, you are an ideal match for this position!

  • Proficient computer knowledge/skills (i.e., MS Office Suite such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or Journalism.
  • Ability to work in-person two days per week in the Elmhurst, IL corporate office is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a content creation role.
  • 1+ years of experience working at an agency.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of content marketing best practices, including SEO and social media.
  • Experience with content management systems and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background checks required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Create engaging, informative, and relevant content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Work with the sales team to develop content that supports their efforts in the field.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotions.
  • Manage the production, editorial, and distribution of all content, including blog posts, articles, videos, and social media posts.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of content marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure the company is always at the forefront of content marketing innovation.
